"I can honestly say I couldn't be more proud of these girls. We fought hard Friday night against Barton, losing in 4. Our offense improved but we just couldn't get on page to pull out the match. We had a focused team meeting Saturday morning and the girls showed up ready to go against Mount Olive. Even though we went down 0-2, the girls had so much heart and hustle. They came together as a team, finishing a much needed 5 set match against a good team. What made the biggest difference was our roster depth and having different players step up when they were called upon. The girls know now that they are ready to compete in this conference. Today was a proud coaching moment for me and a big step for our program" adds Coach Allen, Head Women's Volleyball.
The girls travel to Clark Atlanta on Tuesday to take on theLady Panthers before their home series this weekend.
