Annapolis, MD: The Emmanuel men's & women's swim team has qualified 20 swimmers (11 men, 9 women) for the 2017 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference championships being held March 3-5, 2017 at the United State Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.


ECAC is the largest athletic conference in the United States, with 312 member schools in NCAA Divisions I, II and III, ranging in location from Maine to Florida. This will be the EC swim teams first time entering this championship. There will be 30 teams competing in the championships, including;


Adelphi University, American University, Baruch College, Binghamton University, Bryant University, Bucknell University, Cabrini University, Colby-Sawyer College, College of Staten Island, Columbia University,

Emmanuel College, Fordham University, Frostburg State University, Hunter College, Husson University, LeMoyne College, Loyola University, Marist College, Mount St. Marys University, Regis College, Rider University, Roger Williams University, Saint Francis College, Simmons College, UMBC, University of Maine, University of Pennsylvania, University of Vermont, U.S. Naval Academy, Virginia Military Institute


The meet consists of prelims/finals each day. Swimmers must qualify in the top 16 in the prelims to advance to finals each night. Only swimmers in the finals can earn team points. Swimmers can enter up to 3 individual events and up to 4 relays. Some swimmers will possibly swim 14 races in 3 days. GO LIONS!
