WEST PALM BEACH, FL. - The Emmanuel College men's lacrosse team lost their battle to Palm Beach Atlantic, 17-14, on Wednesday afternoon. This loss brings the Lions record to 3-5 overall, 1-0 in conference.
The Lions had a strong showing in the first half after a goal from Alex Stull started them off on top 1-0. The Sailfish responded with several points of their own, but EC answered for every goal to maintain their lead. Ethan Perez scored two goals while Justin Parker scored one to keep the Lions ahead 4-3. One final goal came from Lance Olson at the 35 second mark to further extend Emmanuels lead, 5-3.
Emmanuel continued their run in the second period, outscoring PBA 5-4 to lead 10-7 at halftime. Shamaz Durrant, Matthew Mitchell, Stull, and Olson each recorded goals.
