Stull's 5 Goals Boosts EC to 15-10 Win Over Pfieffer

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - The Emmanuel College men's lacrosse team defeated Pfieffer University 15-10 on Wednesday afternoon. With this win the Lions improve their record to 2-3 overall.

The Lions wasted no time when Cameron Wolfson fired in a shot just 7 seconds into the game. EC followed up with three more goals from Justin Parker, Alex Stull, and Shamaz Durrant over the next eight minutes. With five minutes remaining in the quarter, Pfieffer's Luke Cox would put the Falcons on the board. EC 4, PU 1.
The Falcons improved upon their first period performance, scoring 4 goals. EC matched Pfieffers performance with goals coming from Wolfson, Durrant (2), and Timothy Manley Jr to maintain an 8-5 lead.
After Pfieffer reduced EC's lead to just two with an early point, Alex Stull responded with three consecutive goals. Bakari Neely added 1 more goal for the Lions to end the period, 12-6.
Despite outscoring EC in the final period, the Lions still put in 3 goals from Stull, Allan Velasquez, and Sheldon Hardy to boost EC to a 15-10 victory. 
Alex Stull led the Lions with 5 goals, 1 assist and 5 groundballs.
Ethan Brundage recorded 4 saves while allowing 5 goals in the first half. Luke Harris tallied 9 saves and allowed 5 goals in the second half.
Next up, the Lions will host Young Harris on Saturday, February 29th at 2pm.
