Franklin Springs, GA --- The EC Men's swim team hosted a 2-day (3 session, timed final) swim meet. The lions finished in first place (978 points) Montevallo (879) Point (493) Piedmont (473).  

Tonight, in the final session (session 3), the lions competed well, winning all 5 events contested.

How it happened:

In the 200 back, Balicki finished 1^st (1:55.08) Hayes 3^rd (2:00.55) McGhee 6^th (2:06.05) Thomas 9^th (2:25.82)

In the 100 free, Dantas finished 1^st in an NCAA national qualifying time (43.81) Santos 2^nd in an NCAA national qualifying time (45.58) Balicki 3^rd (48.23) Mendez 6^th (49.39) Mauldin 7^th (49.65) Cummings 14^th (52.72)

In the 200 breast, Santos finished 1^st (2:03.43) Greber 2^nd (2:14.81) Lane 4^th (2:15.87)

In the 200 fly, Mendez finished 1^st (2:01.22) McGhee 2^nd (2:01.98) Fletcher 7^th (2:07.10)

In the 400 free relay, the A relay (Dantas, Santos, Hayes, McGhee) finished 1^st (3:07.89)

The B relay (Lane, Greber, Cummings, Mauldin) finished 3^rd (3:20.66)

With the overall team win, the lions move to 4-0 on the season.
