Franklin Springs, GA --- The EC Women's swim team hosted a 2-day (3 session, timed final) swim meet. The lady lions finished in first place (900 points) Montevallo (764) Brenau (512) Piedmont (446) Point (152). 

Tonight, in the final session (session 3), the lady lions competed well, winning 3 out of the 5 events contested.

How it happened:

In the 200 back, Aguiar finished 1^st (2:18.80) Davidson 6^th (2:32.89) Pritchett 9^th (2:53.21)

In the 100 free, Aguiar finished 2^nd (54.74) Arnold 3^rd (55.34) Diaz 4^th (56.13)

In the 200 breast, Simioni finished 1^st (2:23.75) Aloisio 2^nd (2:29.18) Chenquer 3^rd (2:30.91)

In the 200 fly, Hayes finished 2^nd (2:17.57) Malinowska 6^th (2:22.66)

In the 400 free relay, the A relay (Aloisio, Aguiar, Diaz, Arnold) finished 1^st (3:40.50)

The B relay (Davidson, Pritchett, Ortman, Chenquer) finished 4^th (4:00.51)

With the overall team win, the lady lions move to 5-0 on the season.
