Franklin Springs, GA --- The EC Men's swim team is hosting a 2-day (3 session, timed final) swim meet.

The lions continue to swim very well, winning 5 out of the 8 events contested in Sessions #2.

How it happened:

In the 200 free relay, the A relay (Dantas, Santos, Mauldin, Balicki) finished 1^st (1:23.89)

The B relay (Hayes, Thomas, Cummings, Lane) finished 4^th (1:33.38)

In the 400 IM, McGhee finished 2^nd (4:18:20) Fletcher 6^th (4:33.57)

In the 100 fly, Dantas finished 1^st (48.56) Mendez 3^rd (53.53) Lane 6^th (55.60)

In the 200 free, McGhee finished 2^nd (1:44.55) Mendez 4^th (1:49.91) Fletcher 6^th (1:53.67)

In the 100 breast, Santos finished 1^st (53.16) Greber 2^nd (58.01) Lane 4^th (1:01.05) Cummings 10^th (1:04.82) Thomas 17^th (1:14.14)

In the 100 back, Balicki finished 1^st (51.58) Hayes 3^rd (54.11) Mauldin 4^th (54.38) Thomas 9^th (1:02.12)

In the 1650 free, Greber finished 3^rd (18:19.67) Fletcher 5^th (19:19.23) Cummings 6^th (19:43.13)

In the 400 medley relay, the A relay (Balicki, Santos, Mendez, Dantas) finished 1^st (3:30.22)  

The B relay (McGhee, Greber, Lane, Mauldin) finished 3^rd (3:42.69)

The lions continue to stay in first place (703 points) Montevallo (646) Piedmont (368) Point (351)
