Women's wrestling drop first home match

Women's wrestling drop first home match
Franklin Springs, GA  - The Lady Lions Wrestling first home match lost to #4 McKendree University. We had 7 placers and a champion this weekend. I feel like we could have had a few more placers and wins but we are young and make little mistakes that cost us in some matches. I'm proud of our girls they wrestled hard and were aggressive in all our matches we can work on the mistakes and I think that will get us more wins.

Abby Nette is our first wrestler to win a tournament for our team.
We lost 37-10 to #4 McKendree University.

We made a mistakes tonight that cost us matches and we didn't preform the way I know we can. We had a great crowd tonight and it was very exciting. I think our girls wrestled a little tight being our first home dual and the #4 team in town. I know we can wrestle better than we did tonight. The good thing is we get to go out and do it tomorrow at our tournament.

Next up for the Lions, they will be at Oklahoma City, OK vs. Blue Chip Athletics Open.
