FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - The Emmanuel College women's volleyball team will advance to the Conference Carolinas Championship match after a 3-0 sweep over Barton College on Saturday night. This concludes the Lions series with the Bulldogs, with Emmanuel standing 2-0 in straight sets both games.

Senior Julie de Blanck led the Lions to their 12th straight win with 12 kills and a .391 hitting percentage, while Freshman Mia Cotton put down 8 kills of her own. Sophomore Jenna Woodruff was second behind de Blanck in hitting percentage, tallying 6 crucial kills for Emmanuel. Emmanuel will take on the Belmont Abbey Crusaders who defeated King University 3-2 to secure their spot in the finals. In their previous matchup, the Lions lost to the Crusaders 3-2.
