Hart reaches milestone in 17-10 loss to #6 Reinhardt

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. ---The Emmanuel College women's lacrosse team fell behind in the first half Wednesday afternoon in conference action when Reinhardt went on a 10-0 run. The Lions fall to 7-9 on the season while the Eagles improve to 15-3.

The Lions came out quickly and took an early 2-0 lead. Megan Hart (Acworth, GA/North Paulding) connected first for the Lions followed by Haley Larson (Loxahatchee, Fla./Seminole Ridge) at the 26:16 mark off of an assist by Tyler Rediger (Hoschton, Ga./Mill Creek). The Eagles then scored 10 straight goals to take the lead for good. Larson found the back of the net four times in the game and dished out two assists. Hart also scored four goals and recorded 5 groundballs, three draw controls and caused two turnovers. Hart now has 100 groundballs for her career which is first in program history.

The Lions return to action on Friday, April 11th as they travel to Columbia to take on No. 6 ranked St. Andrew's in the South Region Conference playoffs. This is the first playoff bid in conference history and the Lions beat St. Andrew's 20-14 earlier this season. That contest is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
