Lions Fall to Eagles in NWLL South Region semi-finals

COLUMBIA, S.C. ---The Emmanuel College Women's Lacrosse Lions fell 12-18 in the NWLL South Region tournament semi-finals to the Eagles of Reinhardt University.

Facing Reinhardt for the second time in four days, EC had a difficult time defending the Eagles' potent attack. Reinhardt advanced to the South Region finals, winning an automatic bid to the NWLL National Tournament. The Lions are now waiting for Selection Sunday in hopes for an at-large bid.

Tyler Rediger (Hoschton, GA/Mill Creek) led EC with five points (1G, 4A). Megan Hart (Acworth, GA/North Paulding) and Haley Larson (Loxahatchee, FL/Seminole Ridge) each tallied 4 points for the Lions on 8 goals and one assist.

Goalkeeper Danielle Roach (Sugar Hill, GA/North Gwinett) collected 24 saves in the loss on 42 shots.

The Lions return to action on Sunday, April 13th when they visit Chowan for their last regular season contest. Game time is 4 p.m.
