Lady Lions Finish Second in Bulldog Classic

RICHMOND, Ky.---The No. 23 ranked Emmanuel College Bowling Team continues to turn heads as they finished second out of eight to the University of Pikeville (No. 6 nationally) at the Union College Bulldog Classic in Richmond, Kentucky this past weekend.

Strong individual performances in the team event put Emmanuel securely in second place where they finished completing back-to-back solid tournaments coupled with their 3rd place finish in Tallahassee two weeks ago.

Emmanuel had great individual performances in the team competition, led by Destiny Harperaveraging 192 and making the all-tournament team. Also in the top 12 were Christalynn Bonifacio,Braxton Anderson, and Courtney Gaskins. The Lions turned in a consistent performance in the Baker Team games averaging 170 and firmly held on to second place finishing more than 200 pins ahead of the third place team..

Thanks to our parents who have provided tremendous support and a special thanks to Mrs. Fennell who graciously provided lunch for our teams.

The Lions continue to push towards the post-season becoming more consistent individually and as a team. Emmanuel travels to Erlanger and Lexington, Ky. on February 8.
