Men's Golf Finishes 11th at Donald Ross Invitational

MORGANTON, N.C. - Men's golf took part in the two-day Donald Ross Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday. The Lenoir-Rhyne hosted invitational took place at the Mimosa Hills Golf and Country Club.

The Lions finished tied for 11th place among fourteen competing schools with a total team score of 898, +58-over par. The host school Lenoir-Rhyne took first place shooting 842, +2-over par.

Sophomore Logan Reese led the Lions at 8-over par to finish tied for 25th. The number two spot went to Senior Erik Sundstrom shooting 12-over and tying for 38th place. Junior Emilio Fanjul followed behind in T48th place shooting 15-over. The final two spots went to Freshman Karl Westroth in T73rd shooting 23 over, then Freshman Chase Martin in 83rd place, shooting 34 over.

Next up for the Lions is the NCCAA National Tournament on Monday, October 22nd at the Hammock Beach Resort's Conservatory Course in Palm Coast, Florida.
